One of the areas of the proposed regional approach that is “Country-specific and regional FAW resistance management guidelines inclusive of all possible IPM practices” is crucial since each country implements management strategies specifically suited to them. Tailor made approaches will favor more effective results and could also serve as a pattern that could be modified to manage other pests of crops.
It is also imperative to integrate different IPM strategies that are compatible/works well with each other in order to achieve its full potential.
