I attended all the sessions of FAW from December till 27th April (resistance management plan). All sessions are very valuable, informative, useful and helpful for understanding more about this pest behavior to suppress their infestation. By attending Biocontrol workshops on FAW and field identification of the parasitoid and predators for FAW control, I learnt more about the most effective Parasitoids against this serious pest especially Telenomus remus and Trichogramma spp and how mass reared them on different factitious hosts such as Corcyra cephalonica. Also, the efficacy of different Larval Parasitoids and predators for FAW control. Up to date, there is no detailed information on the efficacy of Trichogrammatoidea spp. on FAW eggs with different physical characteristic (layers and scales thickness). The previous researchers used T. chilonis or T. Pretiosum and others Trichogramma species not Trichogrammatoidea as a biocontrol agent against FAW. Also, I am interested and very excited about the egg parasitoid, Telenomus sp. and their ability to parasitize on the lower or the scaly egg-masses.

Thanks for the feedback
